• The applicant has to be in Nepal with a valid visa.  (Validity should at least meet the the deadline of the Admission session you are enrolling into)
• A completed application with the required documents and applicable fees should be submitted to the Administration of the Department of Music, Kathmandu University. (Please include the documents of your dependents if any)
• The application pack will then be verified and approved by the Head of the Department.
• Upon approval from the Head, the application pack will proceed further to the University for the authorized signature from the Registrar.
• The approved completed signed application pack will then be forwarded to the Ministry of Education for the verification and approval.
• Upon final verification and approval from the Ministry of Education, the application pack will then be handed over to the applicant back.
• The applicant will now has to go to the Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan, Dillibazaar for the visa. The applicant has to apply in person with the applicable fees.

The entire process takes about three weeks.
